Because our organization is based in California, and many of our volunteers and benefactors reside in parts of the world outside of Vietnam, and away from the Vietnamese leprosy villages where our work is done, it is easy to feel detached from the philanthropy that we contribute.
For this month’s video, we bring that sense of connectedness to our humanitarianism back, with a message of gratitude from Lê Thị Hành, a leper who directly experiences the benefits of our donations and contributions. She explains how our organization has provided food and clothes, and allowed her to send her grandchildren to school. She exclaims, “I don’t know what to say other than thank you.”
